The company name shall be in Arabic or English, and a minimum of three alternative names shall be provided. The names must undergo record‑checking and official approval by the relevant Dubai authorities to avoid duplication with existing company names.

Shareholders and Directors
Minimum one shareholder, minimum one director, one general manager and one company secretary; there are no nationality restrictions. The shareholder, general manager, director and company secretary may be the same person.

The director of such Hong‑Kong company must attend in‑person witnessing at the Dubai Consulate General in Hong Kong. Separate sets of certification are required for each individual document, with total certification costs reaching HKD 60,000‑70,000.(Solution: Costs can be substantially reduced by adopting natural‑person shareholding.)

‑High confidentiality is guaranteed; there is no requirement to disclose the identity information of company owners and directors, nor is it mandatory to maintain a physical office or hire employees in the jurisdiction of registration.

A Limited Liability Company (LLC) bears the suffix LLC. Historically, such entities were locally‑owned.

Sole Establishment Company, suffixed with EST, requires sponsorship by a local sponsor for registration and is suitable for large‑scale enterprises.

It may conduct business freely across Dubai and the whole UAE without geographical restrictions.

It qualifies for government‑tender participation and may carry out sales and service activities directly within the UAE without appointing local agents or distributors.

(Non‑natural‑person shareholders holding more than 5 % of the shares shall be traced to the ultimate beneficial owners, except for shareholders that are listed companies.)
