Advantages of

Registering a Company in Maldives

1. Open and foreign‑investment‑friendly policies: The Maldives adopts an open attitude toward foreign capital and permits foreign‑funded enterprises to hold 100% equity in multiple sectors.

2. Political stability: As one of the relatively peaceful countries in South Asia, the Maldives maintains a stable political situation with low investment risks.

3. Favorable economic environment: Tourism serves as its core economic pillar, and steady foreign exchange revenue creates a secure operating environment for foreign enterprises.

4. Preferential taxation policies: Corporate income tax is exempted for most enterprises. Enterprises in other industries are eligible for value‑added tax exemption except tourism operators required to pay service tax. Duty‑free policies help cut operational costs.

5. Streamlined foreign exchange administration: Foreign investors are entitled to repatriate profits freely without additional taxes.

6. Strong regional radiation capacity: Boasting a superior geographical location linking South Asia, the Middle East and Africa, the Maldives has the potential to grow into a regional hub for trade and logistics.
