Shareholders
A minimum of one shareholder with no nationality restrictions, which can be either an individual natural person or a corporate legal entity. A Simplified Joint-Stock Company (SpA) may be wholly owned by a single shareholder. Shareholder information shall be clearly specified in the Articles of Association.

Legal Representative
A local legal representative is required, who must be a Chilean national or a foreigner with permanent residency in Chile and hold a valid Chilean identity card (cédula de identidad).

Company Name
The company name must be reviewed and approved by the National Institute of Industrial Property of Chile (INAPI). Only names in Spanish are acceptable. It is recommended to prepare three alternative names ending with suffixes such as "SpA", "Ltda." or "SA".

Registered Capital
There is no minimum registered capital requirement and capital verification is not mandatory. It is recommended to set the initial capital at USD 5,000 to 10,000, which facilitates smoother bank account opening reviews and can serve as working capital for regular business operations after company incorporation.

Registered Address

Business Scope
